Argentinean 3D street artist, Eduardo Relero, has created worlds of wonder on pavements all over the globe. Relero’s optical illusions encourage public participation in his art. Relero spends up to two weeks creating his chalk drawings on pavement, which, when viewed from the proper angle, miraculously spring to life.
“I realised that by taking my art out in the public, to festivals, theatres and events, I would be free to make drawings more to my liking.” “People are always surprised by the three-dimensional effect, but what I like best is when people take a closer look at what the image is about.”Sometimes they make people laugh and other times they get knowing glances. These are beautiful moments, but everyone reacts in a different ways.” Eduardo Relero
